Job Description
An established healthcare team in Bismarck, North Dakota, is seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine physician to join a busy walk-in clinic and provide high-quality acute and urgent care to patients across the community.
Position Highlights:
Located along the Missouri River, Bismarck offers the best of both worlds: a growing city of approximately 78,000 residents with modern amenities and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. The Bismarck-Mandan area offers excellent schools, an active downtown, restaurants, shopping, parks and abundant opportunities for outdoor recreation. For bigger-city getaways, Fargo is approximately 194 miles east, Rapid City, South Dakota, is about 300 miles southwest, and Minneapolis–St. Paul is roughly 430 miles east. With easy access to I-94 and a regional airport, Bismarck provides a comfortable, affordable lifestyle with plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors while remaining connected to larger metropolitan areas.
Position Highlights:
- Walk-in/urgent care setting with a collaborative team of physicians, APPs, nurses and support staff
- Average 20–25 patients per day
- Flexible scheduling with 6-, 10- or 12-hour shifts
- Weekend and holiday shifts are just 4 hours
- Treat a broad range of acute and chronic conditions, from respiratory and urinary infections to lacerations, DVTs, hypertension and diabetes
- Care for patients ranging from newborns to centenarians
- Access to lab, CT, MRI and ultrasound services
- Strong network of local medical and surgical specialists for consultation and referrals
- Full-time schedule of 40 patient-contact hours per week
Compensation & Benefits:
- $184.25 per hour
- Additional compensation may be available through bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation
- Day/evening/night rotation
