This individual will be responsible for sourcing new factoring opportunities, building strong client relationships, and closing deals that align with the company's risk appetite and funding capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in factoring business development, a healthy active pipeline, and experience working remotely with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and maintain new factoring client relationships across diverse industries.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads and prospects.
- Work closely with underwriting and operations teams to structure, propose, and close transactions.
- Execute outbound business development strategies and cultivate referral sources.
- Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline in CRM system.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in all communications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in factoring business development with a consistent track record of high production.
- Demonstrated ability to work remotely, including strong organizational and communication skills.
- Active pipeline of current factoring opportunities preferred.
- Strong understanding of the factoring industry, including deal structuring and client onboarding processes.
- Proven ability to generate leads, develop long-term client relationships, and close deals.
- Excellent tenure with previous employers; stable career history is a must.
- Self-starter with a high degree of professionalism and a results-driven mindset.
- Proficient in CRM tools and remote communication platforms (Zoom, Slack, Teams).
