Summary of Position: Operates on Saltwater Disposal and Water Wells.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Facility Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting daily facility operations.
  • Performing daily facility reports.
  • Checking loads to ensure fluid is acceptable for disposal.
  • Cleaning out SWD filter baskets on the pumps.
  • Conducting daily inspection of equipment and facility operating functions.
  • Ensuring compliance with HSE policies and saltwater disposal requirements.
  • Gauging Tanks.
  • Maintaining up to date meter readings and compiling information onto daily reports.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Monitoring water levels at site to ensure tanks are within their operating parameters.
  • Monitoring and account for skim oil volumes removed from facility.
  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance daily.
  • Keeping track of pump pressures.
  • Monitoring drivers for proper procedures and the use of personal protection equipment (PPE).
  • Reporting safety/environmental issues to management.
  • Understanding and adhering to all Safety and Environmental rules and regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Have a valid driver’s license.
  • Have at least 2+ years’ experience working on saltwater disposal sites required.
  • Live in Pecos, TX or within a 30-mile radius from Pecos, TX required.
    • Company paid housing will be provided during your working shift.

  • Operates in a field environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds and must be able to carry a self-contained breathing apparatus if needed. Specific vision abilities required by the job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • This is a full time-position.
  • Rotation Schedules Offered:
    • 10/4 (10 days on 4 days off), 11/3 (11 days on 3 days off), or 14/7 (14 days on 7 days off)
    • Day and night shifts available
    • 10 – 12 hour shifts
    • Occasional call-outs at nights
