Facility Operations Manager

Our client is one of the largest and most successful health systems in the United States.
They currently have an immediate opening for a Facility Operations Manager for some of their most successful ambulatory clinics and surgery centers.
The Chief Engineer/Facility Operations Manager is the manager of and is responsible for the facilities department operations and personnel. Oversees and coordinates daily operations of the engineering/facilities management department under the supervision of the Director of Facilities or hospital leadership or regional facilities leadership as applicable. Duties of the Chief Engineer/Facility Manager include but are not limited to, management of life safety systems and documentation in accordance with applicable standards and codes set by the Authority Having Jurisdiction, supervision of the preventative maintenance program and troubleshooting the physical plant and related equipment within the facility. The Chief Engineer/Facility Manager supervises specified department staff in the general maintenance of the buildings and grounds, planning and making necessary repairs on equipment. Participates in the preparation and administration of departmental capital and operating budgets.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, Associate's Building Operations Management preferred.
- IFMA or BOMA Facilities Management Certificate within 1 year
- Certified Healthcare Facility Manager - within 1 year
- Universal CFC License - within 4 months
- At least 3 years progressive experience in supervising or management level position
- Knowledge of facilities and plant operations in a healthcare environment.
