Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Job Location: Honolulu | Compensation: $17/hour (Depends on Experience) |
Employment Type: Direct Hire - Full Time | Work Schedule: Friday & Sat 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM |
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of building-related facilities and common areas, including amenity rooms, sky deck, parking garage, sky lanais, Association offices, break rooms, storage spaces, and more. Ensure all amenities and facilities are well-maintained and in proper working order.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on common areas and amenities, including painting, drywall repair, tiling, plumbing, carpentry, basic electrical work, and preventative maintenance checks.
- Conduct housekeeping tasks and basic landscaping duties.
- Service and maintain BBQ grills.
- Repair and service common area plumbing equipment and devices.
- Perform carpentry, masonry, and spall repairs.
- Maintain and service trash compactor equipment and related facilities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in general maintenance, repair work, and facility upkeep.
- Knowledge of basic electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and landscaping.
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment and tools safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
