PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the Director of FP&A to develop and execute key strategies to support the department and corporate mission
  • Partner with business leaders to forecast and manage monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Coordinate/execute annual planning process
  • Prepare/review materials for FP&A Monthly Package, SIOP Forecast Process and Board Presentations
  • Work with business customers to access reporting needs and build strategic relationships
  • Ensure continuous improvement of appropriate controls over the monthly compilation process
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting for decision making associated with new business, pricing decisions, customer decisions, product decisions & warehouse/plant decisions, i.e. close or scale down
  • Prepare presentations for Senior Management
  • Work with business leaders to provide global analysis in areas such as: actual versus forecast/plan analysis, scenarios associated with the covenant model, analysis of business units and their contribution to the overall company and provide market data to financial statements using “what if” scenarios and various assumptions
  • Provide profitability reporting at the market, warehouse and customer level

REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.S. in Finance (MBA preferred)
  • 5+ plus years’ relative experience
  • ERP systems knowledge, Oracle a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
  • Manufacturing & inventory experience
  • Full P&L reporting experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Management experience/leadership skills
  • Excellent written, verbal & presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills including time management, project management and prioritization of tasks
  • Ability to build relationships and all levels of the organization
  • Sound accounting knowledge to allow for understanding of financial statements and reconciliation
  • Strategic thinker with ability to identify opportunity areas and develop analysis to present to senior management
  • Experience performing financial modeling
