Family Med Medical Director opening in north central VA - easy access to Washington D.C.

Job Description

Seeking full time Board Certified Family Medicine physician to serve as a member of Executive Leadership team as Medical Director. This physician leader will play a pivotal role in shaping clinical strategies, fostering team excellence, and delivering high-quality care to our community.

This role includes both administrative and clinical responsibilities:

  • Full-Time: 20 hours/week clinical care + 20 hours/week administrative leadership
  • Part-Time: 20 hours/week, administrative leadership only


This is an ideal opportunity for a board-certified physician in family medicine who is eager to lead a mission-driven team and champion healthcare access in a vibrant and diverse community.

  • Provide direct supervision and mentorship to medical provider team
  • Oversee clinical quality and performance improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with leadership on clinical workflows, compliance, and best practices
  • Deliver patient care consistent with evidence-based medicine (for full-time position)
  • Represent clinic in medical and community leadership forums

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Work-Life Balance: Monday–Friday, daylight hours
