Mead & Hunt has a once in a lifetime opportunity for an electrical engineer to join their growing team and become the go-to specialist for electrical aspects of municipal water/wastewater projects nationwide. This career-making role offers a great steppingstone for advancement with the potential in the future to lead an electrical water/wastewater practice for the firm.
In this role, the engineer will oversee electrical engineering for water/wastewater projects firm-wide to ensure high-quality plans are produced. The responsibilities include quality control, supporting clients and other team members, and working with the team’s in-house CAD technicians while designing a variety of project components. Typical municipal client projects include electrical instrumentation and control systems, power distribution systems, electrical layouts for control equipment and systems for water/wastewater collection, pumping, treatment and discharge. The engineer will work closely with and be supported by electrical engineers throughout all divisions within the company and will have the opportunity for mentorship, knowledge sharing, and technical collaboration for companywide projects.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $170,000 /year – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set and location.

Requirements:
• BS in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline
• 8+ years of experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• Prior experience working on water and/or wastewater projects
