We are seeking an Experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. Salary: Dependent on Experience per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects.
• Read and interpret specifications and contract drawings to develop electrical system designs.
• Analyze engineering schematics, specifications, and related documents to determine design requirements.
• Develop accurate electrical layouts, device panels, motor and control schematics, and related bill of materials.
• Ensure design compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, fabricators, and vendors to achieve project objectives.
• Evaluate and approve modifications to system designs and documentation.
• Utilize CAD software to create, update, and maintain detailed engineering drawings and databases.
• Interface with customers and project teams to discuss project specifications and proposals.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in electrical design and system specifications development.
• Thorough knowledge of industry-relevant electrical codes (UL508A, NEC, NFPA).
• Exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel and adapt to flexible work hours as required by project demands.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant engineering experience, particularly in electrical design.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Significant experience with AutoCAD Electrical and other CAD software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience in designing HMI graphics and knowledge of PLC programming.
• Background in network systems related to industrial automation and data exchange.
• Experience in the baggage handling or conveyor/material handling industries.

• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and CAD software.
• Ability to efficiently interpret and execute on engineering specifications and drawings.
