Our client is a 5* boutique resort with less than 100 units and multiple F&B outlets on an idyllic beach on a tropical island in Philippines.
The Resort is still in pre-opening phase, opening is scheduled for Q3 2026.
Note that this resort is located in a magnificent, but remote location.
This role will be reporting directly to Executive Chef.
You will be heavily involved with the pre-opening activities and oversee the day to day operations of the Culinary Department, and lead and mentor a team of passionate staff who will deliver a truly memorable experience for their guests.
Please note that this position is available for Filipino Nationals only.

Profile
• 5* and leisure resort experience
• Culinary school background
• Experience in the same or similar position
• Luxury foundation in internationally branded properties
• Pre-opening experience is a plus
• Strong in Asian cuisines with good knowledge in Western cuisines
• Having a “whatever it takes” attitude
• Knowledge of all Kitchen operations and procedures
• Excellent English both spoken and written
• Good in food cost and stock control
• Experience with HACCP Standard
• Computer literate
• Good communication skills
• Flexible working hours
• Flexible working hours
• Strong leadership, tactical skills and result oriented
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• A high standard of presentation and grooming at all times
