The Executive Pastor of Ministries plays a pivotal role as the organizational leader within the church, working in tandem with the Lead Pastor to implement the strategic direction and optimize human resources. This leadership position involves overseeing day-to-day ministry operations and providing overall guidance to the Leadership Team in various functional areas to fulfill the church's mission.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This role extends beyond mere organizational management, encompassing the overall leadership and direction of the Leadership Team. The multifaceted responsibilities, spanning outreach, media arts, pastoral care, small groups, and strategic planning, reflect a holistic approach to ministry that aligns with the vibrancy and energy characteristic of Faith Family Church.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementation of Directional Leadership:

  • Execute the visionary direction set by the Lead Pastor.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate the Lead Pastor's vision and mission to downline leaders, ensuring successful initiative implementation.


Support of Lead Pastor:

  • Assist the Lead Pastor in accomplishing the church's mission through evaluation, decision-making, planning, and overall leadership of the church team.
  • Oversee the organizational planning of major church events.
  • Act as a filter between church attendees and the Lead Pastor when the latter is unavailable or occupied in other ministry areas.


Pastoral Duties:

  • Shepherd the congregation and community in collaboration with the Lead Pastor.
  • Manage relationships within and outside the church, addressing regular and problem areas.
  • Participate in worship services as needed and undertake pastoral duties, including teaching, discipling, performing weddings, funerals, baptisms, and communion.
