Executive Paralegal - Commercial Real Estate & Corporate Law
Are you an experienced Corporate Paralegal looking for a unique opportunity to work directly with executive leadership while supporting a dynamic commercial real estate organization?
Our client, a vertically integrated commercial real estate, construction, development, and property management company, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Paralegal to partner directly with the CEO. This role combines corporate legal support with executive-level project coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business, law, and real estate.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer, highly organized, and experienced managing legal documentation, contracts, corporate records, and confidential business matters while supporting executive initiatives.
What You'll Do
As the Executive Paralegal, you'll provide legal and administrative support to the CEO while helping oversee corporate governance, legal documentation, and executive operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, edit, and organize contracts, leases, legal correspondence, corporate documents, and executive communications.
- Assist with commercial real estate transactions, acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and due diligence documentation.
- Maintain corporate records, entity filings, board resolutions, meeting minutes, and governance documentation.
- Coordinate with outside counsel on litigation, contracts, corporate matters, and regulatory compliance.
- Track contract deadlines, renewals, insurance certificates, permits, licenses, and legal obligations.
- Conduct legal and business research to support executive decision-making.
- Organize and maintain legal files, corporate records, and confidential documentation.
- Prepare executive reports, presentations, legal summaries, and board materials.
- Manage highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Coordinate meetings with attorneys, lenders, investors, business partners, and executive leadership.
- Support special projects involving commercial real estate development, construction, acquisitions, and corporate operations.
- Assist the CEO with executive scheduling and priority management as needed.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly organized legal professional who enjoys balancing legal work with executive-level project management. You thrive in fast-paced environments, anticipate issues before they arise, and are comfortable handling sensitive legal matters independently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Paralegal Certificate required or equivalent corporate paralegal experience.
- 5+ years of corporate, commercial real estate, or transactional paralegal experience.
- Experience drafting and reviewing contracts, legal correspondence, leases, and corporate documents.
- Knowledge of corporate governance, entity management, legal filings, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions and legal documentation preferred.
- Outstanding written communication skills with exceptional grammar and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Typing speed of at least 70 WPM.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Experience handling confidential legal and business information with discretion.

Experience working with outside legal counsel and managing legal documentation for multiple business entities is highly preferred.
