Title of Position: Executive Chinese Chef

Package: 5,000 USD

Job Description:

• Responsible to assist the Executive Chef in the efficient operation of culinary areas to continually support the kitchen services to the hotel guests and associates.
• Responsible for the efficient Banquet operation including the implementation of all Culinary, Financial and Human Resource standards.
• Is responsible for his/her assigned Culinary area, ensuring a smooth running, profitable operation within the framework of the culinary department.
• Special focus on food production and leads culinary associates within his/her responsibility area.
  
• Follows guest requests and makes sure that negative guest commands are addressed and solved.
• Uses hotels cuisine concepts/standards for food preparation, production and presentation. (Use record, recipes, and production charts).
• Maintains food safety & protection. All food in working areas should be in compliance with food handling techniques, to include dating, proper storage, rotation, etc.
  
• Maintains basic food safety & sanitation in accordance with the company policies and local hygiene laws.
• Leads his/her team and makes sure that Hygiene Standards are up to date and the clean as you go process is practiced. He/she also guarantees that the work area is organized in accordance to Brand Standards before leaving the shift.
• Maintains food cost by ensuring that proper preparations, inventory, requisition, food pars and control system are followed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Minimum 3 years experience in Chinese culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
• Chinese Nationality.
