Executive Chef

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

  • Upscale, very popular, 280 seats, gourmet steak and seafood restaurant
  • A regular winner of the best restaurant in the state of Idaho
  • Forbes winning wine collection, best cellar in the state
  • Located in Boise, a vibrant and growing city with a low cost of living
  • Executive Chef who has been there over 15 years will be retiring in a few months

WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Be the new Executive Chef to lead the team and build on the success of this famous and very popular upscale restaurant
  • Kitchen management, including financial, training, costing, menu development, vendor sourcing and negotiation, and of course food production and service
  • All food is prepared from scratch including butchering of meats and fileting of fish
  • Speak to guests and coordinate menu planning and service for very busy private dining and events business at the restaurant

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • At least 3 years Executive Chef experience
  • Scratch cooking knowledge
  • High volume upscale restaurant experience (200 seats+)
  • Strong butchery skills
  • Fish filet experience
  • Culinary education
