Our client is a 5* boutique resort with less than 100 units and multiple F&B outlets on an idyllic beach on a tropical island in Philippines.
The Resort is still in pre-opening phase, opening is scheduled for Q1 2027.
This role will be reporting directly to General Manager.
Note that this resort is located in a magnificent, but remote location.

Profile
• Culinary school background
• Strong expertise in Spanish cuisine, traditional and contemporary
• Strong background in refined Spanish cuisine within premium restaurants or luxury hotels
• Ability to use new and modern techniques
• Ability to develop menus with emphasis on authentic Spanish cuisine and modern interpretations
• Having a “whatever it takes” attitude
• Out of the box culinary approach with strong attention to authenticity and quality
• Familiar with budgeting and food costing
• Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and safety standards
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to promote teamwork and develop culinary talent
• Passion for training and mentoring kitchen teams
• Detail-oriented in food quality, preparation, and presentation
• Displays a confident and professional manner
• Patient with strong coaching capabilities
• Guest-focused with a hands-on management approach
• Strong organizational and business acumen
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
• Computer literate
• Strong in English both written and spoken
