Role Summary

This position reports to the Vice President of Preconstruction. The Company’s primary goal for your role is to utilize your skills as Estimator for all variations of projects, large or small, timing with other assignments permitting. Your position will require you to manage a large flow of multiple projects at times depending upon the workflow company wide as determined at the discretion of the Company.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities


  1. Estimating KPIs & Assignments
  2. Preconstruction Services
  3. Bid / Est Process Management
  4. Client/Sub Relations


  1. Main liaison with Chief Estimator and VP of Preconstruction :: Communicate status and outcome of assigned tasks with Preconstruction Staff and other project team members.
  2. Performs quantity takeoffs.
  3. Civil/ Site work estimations.
  4. Detailed material and labor trade work takeoffs as may be required to assemble conceptual estimates and supplement inadequate subcontractor coverage
  5. Prepares and assists in pricing and bidding of construction projects.
  6. Solicits subcontractors and vendors to bid on projects bidding.
  7. Communicates with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and owners.
  8. Directs, coordinates, and provides information and documents to subcontracts.
  9. Written subcontractor bid review and analysis, Subcontractor scope development as needed.
  10. Attend pre-bid and project walk through meetings.
  11. Client scope of work development, project schedules and presentation document assembly
  12. Prepare and assist with the final assembly of bid proposals then collects and organizes all bid information for future reference.
  13. Responsible for all document creation and management including professional RFI and other communications to clients, architects/engineers, subcontractors, suppliers.
  14. Preconstruction Department services
  15. Regularly participate in strategic presentations to secure new opportunities
  16. Maintain overall summary of proposal status and assist in the follow up on all proposals and bids
  17. As a confidential position dealing with contractual term and monies, the aforementioned duties are not intended to be an all-inclusive list, however represent the basic requisite drive, experience and skills required via any working hours as are necessary to meet Company goals for this position.
  18. Backstopping: Operations as needed
  19. Resolves issues effectively—seeing real problems, being comfortable with conflict, calling out and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner. Ensures the leadership team is healthy, functional, and cohesive.

  1. Experience in EOS Worldwide is preferred
  2. Preferred to have a minimum of 5 years' experience working in a large scale professional commercial construction environment
  3. Strong accountability, problem solving for the greater good, and the ability to maintain solid relationships
  4. Exhibit attention to detail in conjunction with excellent communication skills
  5. Cutting edge technical savvy skills are preferred.
