Estimator - Deep Foundations

Location: Corporate office-based with potential site visits. Atlanta, GA

Role Overview: Prepare competitive bids for deep foundation projects. Report to and train under Px and VP of Atlanta. Collaborate with executives, business development, operations, engineers, and project managers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Review plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
• Perform quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam.
• Procure material pricing (concrete, rebar, steel piling).
• Build estimates in company spreadsheet.
• Develop project schedules for production forecasting.
• Coordinate bidding strategies and alternatives with executives and engineers.
• Write proposal letters including pricing, qualifications, inclusions/exclusions, terms.
• Maintain client, contractor, and supplier relationships.
• Serve as primary bid contact until award.
• Coordinate with business development team.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Building Science or Construction Management.
• Preferably 1+ years deep foundation estimating experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam.
• Ability to read construction documents.
• Strong communication and organization.
