Estimator

An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the Hartford, CT area for an individual with 3+ years’ experience as an Estimator with a background in Commercial and Industrial projects ranging from $100k to $10M. This position would earn a generous base salary and a loaded benefits package including $600/month Auto Allowance, Gas Card, 100% PAID medical benefits for individual, a 401K w/ matching, PTO and other outstanding perks.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Maintain excellent communication with internal staff, clients, and others alike.
• Travel to sites and quote a vast array of projects ranging in size from $100k to $10M.
• Interpret customer bid requirements to assemble detailed and complete Labor, Material, Equipment, and Expense summaries for review and closing.
• Conduct cost analysis at completion of project.

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration:

• Please DO NOT APPLY unless you have 3+ years of Commercial/Industrial project Estimation experience including: Retail, Medical, Automotive, Financial, Manufacturing, etc.

• Demonstrated experience with RFI’s, RFP’s, Scheduling, Risk Analysis, Bid Negotiation, Project Tracking, Managing Budgets, is a MUST

• Experience with Value Engineering/Analysis is a PLUS

• Experience with Turnkey or Design-Build projects is a PLUS

• Proficiency in Microsoft Projects, Bluebeam and any Pipeline or Take-off software is a PLUS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Administration or related field is a PLUS
