Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of estimating experience within Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant (WTP/WWTP) construction or heavy civil infrastructure
- Proven track record of managing and bidding projects valued at $20M+
- Strong understanding of WTP/WWTP scopes including process piping, mechanical systems, earthwork, and site utilities
- Ability to lead full bid efforts from conceptual takeoff through proposal submission
- Proficiency with estimating software and construction management platforms
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across project teams
- Currently based in the Greater Phoenix area or willing to relocate to Arizona
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full estimating process for WTP/WWTP projects from bid solicitation through award
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and bid preparation for projects $20M and above
- Coordinate with project management, field leadership, and subcontractors to develop competitive and accurate bids
- Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to identify scope, risk, and opportunity
- Maintain and develop subcontractor and vendor relationships to support competitive pricing
- Support preconstruction efforts and collaborate with leadership on go/no-go decisions and bid strategy
- Ensure all estimates are thorough, accurate, and submitted on time in accordance with project deadlines
