Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of estimating experience within Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant (WTP/WWTP) construction or heavy civil infrastructure
  • Proven track record of managing and bidding projects valued at $20M+
  • Strong understanding of WTP/WWTP scopes including process piping, mechanical systems, earthwork, and site utilities
  • Ability to lead full bid efforts from conceptual takeoff through proposal submission
  • Proficiency with estimating software and construction management platforms
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across project teams
  • Currently based in the Greater Phoenix area or willing to relocate to Arizona

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full estimating process for WTP/WWTP projects from bid solicitation through award
  • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and bid preparation for projects $20M and above
  • Coordinate with project management, field leadership, and subcontractors to develop competitive and accurate bids
  • Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to identify scope, risk, and opportunity
  • Maintain and develop subcontractor and vendor relationships to support competitive pricing
  • Support preconstruction efforts and collaborate with leadership on go/no-go decisions and bid strategy
  • Ensure all estimates are thorough, accurate, and submitted on time in accordance with project deadlines
