Estate Planning Attorney at Leading Law Firm

We are seeking a dedicated Estate Planning Attorney to join our Sacramento or Auburn office. This role offers the opportunity to work within a prestigious and client-focused legal firm with a profound commitment to legacy protection through estate planning, trust administration, tax planning, and asset protection. As part of our team, you will provide tailored estate planning services that deeply consider the needs of each client, helping them safeguard their futures and those of their families.

Salary: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed consultations with prospective and existing clients to evaluate their estate planning requirements and suggest appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare and critically analyze estate planning documents like trusts, wills, and powers of attorney to ensure they reflect client objectives and comply with current laws.
  • Manage the client engagement process from initial contact through finalization of services, including discussions on fees and handling payments.
  • Facilitate client meetings to discuss, revise, and finalize estate plans, ensuring full satisfaction and understanding.
  • Keep thorough records of client communications, meetings, and document preparations for legal and operational integrity.
  • Deliver timely and effective responses to client inquiries through various communication modes.
  • Collaborate with financial planners and other allied professionals to present comprehensive estate solutions.
  • Remain up-to-date with advancements in estate, trust, and probate laws to uphold best practices and legal compliance.
  • Actively participate in attorney and firm meetings to share insights on complex legal cases and internal policy updates.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Active California State Bar license required.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in estate planning.
  • In-depth understanding of estate, gift, and income tax laws.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Adept in the use of legal-specific technology and case management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • California State Bar Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trusts & Probate.

Skills:
