Requirements
- The Environmental Specialist primary duties are managing site’s solid waste and supporting the QC lab operations. Responsible for complying with all AIMS HESQ policies & practices including ISO-9001, ISO 14001 ISO-45001 and RCMS. This includes compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. For example, OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, DOT, etc.
- Participates in other plant activities as needed to improve performance in areas of safety, environmental, reliability, process incident elimination, cost control, and related areas.
- Responsible for implementing, coordinating, and maintaining the Houston plant safety, quality and environmental programs and activities to ensure compliance with all Local, State, and Federal laws, regulations and corporate standards.
- Relocation provided. $90K-$120K
Requirements
- The Environmental Specialist will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental, Engineering, Chemistry or other related technical field or an Associate’s Degree or relevant certifications may be considered with demonstrated knowledge and years of service taken into account.
- Minimum 7+years’of experience in the day-to-day involvement in HES activities and handling hazardous & non-hazardous waste.
- Basic knowledge of state and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations required, with a demonstrated desire to become proficient in all reporting requirements.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
