Salary: $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide detailed legal and regulatory analysis regarding local, state, and federal environmental laws, focusing on permitting and compliance.
- Handle legal matters relating to Chapters 373 and 403 of the Florida Statutes, the Clean Water Act, and other relevant regulations.
- Represent clients effectively in administrative hearings and proceedings before the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings.
- Prepare comprehensive legal analyses, draft documents, and pleadings with meticulous attention to detail.
- Work both independently and as part of a team on complex legal cases involving environmental, land use, and local government law.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience specializing in environmental law, with a strong understanding of federal and state environmental regulations.
- Must be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Proven experience in dealing with regulatory agencies or local government entities.
- Demonstrated ability in legal research, complex drafting, and robust oral and written communication skills.
- Should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced experience and knowledge in land use and local government law.
- Proven track record of engaging with complex environmental cases and providing exceptional client representation.
