EHS Coordinator (Confidential Search)

Location: Near Elizabethtown, KY

We are looking for a dedicated Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to manage and enhance EHS programs in a manufacturing environment. This is a confidential search, offering the opportunity to lead and improve safety, compliance, and environmental practices in a dynamic and growing organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously improve and implement EHS programs, policies, and management systems
  • Provide technical support and regulatory interpretation on EHS-related matters, including laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain and track EHS training programs and deliver training to employees at all levels
  • Monitor and analyze key EHS performance metrics to measure progress and identify trends
  • Conduct EHS audits and inspections to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Lead and participate in EHS subcommittees, team audits, and incident investigations
  • Ensure that all necessary permits and reports are submitted to the appropriate authorities
  • Maintain up-to-date EHS records and documentation
  • Stay current on safety and environmental regulations and technical issues
  • Promote safety awareness across the organization and ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Collaborate with employees to ensure compliance with safety regulations and improve the safety culture
  • Conduct risk assessments, including fire risk assessments, to ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and contractors
  • Support food safety standards to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements in food packaging

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree, Technical Degree, or relevant certification preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven knowledge of environmental regulations, safety compliance, and workplace health
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and EHS-related software
  • Experience delivering hands-on training, especially related to safety and compliance
  • Experience with emergency response procedures and certifications in First Aid, CPR, and OSHA 300 training
  • Knowledge and experience in food grade industry regulations and standards preferred
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, with strong attention to detail
