JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for an ENTRY Level Maintenance Technician position open in Simpsonville, SC.

Shift Schedule: 12 hours shifts and positions open on AM and PM schedules.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Mechanical background in automotive repair, machine repair or passion for fixing things
  • 6mo experience troubleshooting machines
  • 4 years’ experience working in manufacturing facility on machines
  • Experience using hand tools

Basic Duties:

  • Assist with routine maintenance and inspections of manufacturing equipment.
  • Help identify issues with equipment and assist in diagnosing basic problems.
  • Work alongside experienced technicians to resolve malfunctions.
  • Record maintenance activities and update logs.
  • Maintain organized records of tools and materials used.
  • Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Learn and apply safety standards for handling machinery and tools.
  • Participate in on-the-job training to develop technical skills.
  • Shadow senior technicians to gain hands-on experience with complex systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist in managing tools and inventory.
