JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Entry Level Chemical Operator in Fountain Inn, South Carolina.

Shift: 1st
Days: Monday-Thursday
Time: 6am-4pm

Responsibilities and Job Requirements of a Entry Level Chemical Operator includes:

• Operate various mixing and blending equipment throughout the plant, adjusting to different production needs as required.
• Perform routine quality control checks to ensure product consistency and compliance with standards.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and changeovers to support efficient production transitions.
• Maintain accurate inventory by properly reporting material usage, reducing waste, and ensuring all measuring tools are correctly calibrated.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, following all housekeeping standards.
• Accurately complete required paperwork and data entry related to production and inventory tasks.
• Participate in periodic physical inventory counts and reconciliation processes.
• Safely handle and transport materials manually and with powered industrial trucks (forklifts).
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and company-specific EHS guidelines.
• Perform additional duties and support other departments as needed.

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• 1-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment ideal but not required, production operator or batch making/mixing experience is a plus.
• Lift up to 75 pounds
• Strong, logical decision-making skills
• Experience with time management and multitasking
• Strong attention to detail
• Solid math skills.
• Demonstrated comfort with data entry and basic computer skills
