Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Develops CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) programs as directed by Senior CMM programmer;
  • Assists in developing training plans for the digital inspection capabilities;
  • Participates as a team member in projects for new technology implementation;
  • Participates in problem resolution of any hardware and software issues related to digital inspection equipment;
  • Participates in problem resolution of any CMM program related issues;
  • Develop CMM Inspection Instructions and set up sheet for CMM programs.

Position Requirements / Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent;
  • Eligibility for membership in CTTAM or Association of Professional Engineers (APEGM) considered an asset;
  • Knowledge of Quality Control Inspection tools;
  • Understanding the hierarchy and application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T);
  • Working knowledge of PCDMIS and Calypso programming software will be considered an asset;
  • Working knowledge of Polyworks programming software will be considered an asset;
  • Related work experience in a Manufacturing environment will be considered an asset;
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
