Enterprise Team Manager

Role Overview

The Enterprise Team Manager is a leadership-driven role responsible for owning and scaling a high-volume enterprise book of business. This individual will oversee a team of customer service and carrier sales reps, supporting operations centered around open deck freight with possibility to expand into different modes. Operating as a player/coach, this role owns both performance and execution — driving growth, leading the team, and ensuring consistent, profitable delivery and customer satisfaction across all accounts.


Performance Expectations

This role carries full ownership of revenue, margin, and team performance. The Enterprise Team Manager is expected to: - Maintain and grow existing book of business - Drive sales expanding the current customer base - Increase volume and customer penetration - Build scalable processes and team accountability

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

- Lead and develop a team (CSRs, & Carrier Sales) along with shared support functions - Establish accountability, structure, and performance standards

Account Ownership

- Own enterprise accounts end-to-end - Strengthen relationships and expand wallet share - Execute growth strategies across lanes, modes, and volume

Operational Oversight

- Oversee daily execution and service performance - Manage escalations and ensure consistency across accounts

Systems & Process

- Oversee TMS workflows (bids, tenders, PODs) - Identify gaps and implement scalable improvements

Revenue & Margin

- Own pricing strategy and margin performance - Monitor KPIs and adjust to hit financial targets

Qualifications

7+ years in freight brokerage / 3PL - Experience with enterprise or strategic accounts - Proven leadership capability - Strong operational + commercial skillset - Open deck / flatbed experience preferred - Player/coach mindset
