Enterprise Account Executive



ENTERPRISE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

As an ENTERPRISE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, you will directly generate revenue and drive new drayage business by growing and developing your sales funnel, building relationships, and closing sales. You will also work collaboratively with internal personnel and management to support the customers you bring to the organization operationally. You understand the key to success requires persistence, resilience, being proactive and a strong desire to not only meet but exceed their goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue by on boarding new drayage clients
  • Build relationships with prospective clients
  • Maintain consistent contact with existing clients
  • Analyze market and establish competitive advantages
  • Conduct pricing, rate negotiations and manage RFP’s
  • Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
  • Maintain open communication with operations team
  • Analyze clients supply chain for ways to expand service offerings
  • Actively generates new sales leads converting them to revenue generating accounts
  • Travel as needed

Qualifications

    • 4+ years in freight brokerage
    • 2+ years in Drayage/FTL sales
    • Generate and Organize Client Leads: Contact new and existing Freight Forwarders, NVOCCs, etc., to promote FMI’s Draydex® along with a full range of drayage and intermodal transportation services
    • Email, call, and visit (local only) clients to ensure service satisfaction
    • Maintain constant awareness of client needs and operational impact
    • Reach/exceed monthly sales goals / KPIs
    • Provide updates/reports to Management as requested
    • Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to work independently -- self-motivated, Self-starter
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
