Engineering Service Technician
Job Description
Apollo Technical is seeking an Engineering Service Technician for an immediate opening in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
This is an on-site role focused on maintaining and troubleshooting advanced automated systems to ensure optimal performance for clients across various industries.
Remote work is not available for this position.
Key Responsibilities

Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair industrial automation equipment.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics and diagrams.

PLC Interaction: Troubleshoot automated machines using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote support to clients.

Documentation: Maintain detailed service records using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.

Training: Conduct client training sessions on equipment operation and maintenance.

Travel: Travel to client facilities as needed (approximately 20-30% of the time).
Qualifications and Skills

Mechanical Aptitude: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.

Industrial Equipment Experience: Proven hands-on experience with factory maintenance and automation systems.

PLC Knowledge: General understanding of PLCs required; advanced PLC knowledge and basic programming skills preferred.

Electro-Pneumatic Expertise: Ability to read and interpret electro-pneumatic schematics.

Communication and Organization: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong organizational abilities.

MS Office Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting.

Customer Focus: Professional demeanor with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Preferred Experience

Minimum of 2 years in a similar role within automation or manufacturing industries.
