Job Description

Apollo Technical is seeking an Engineering Service Technician for an immediate opening in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

This is an on-site role focused on maintaining and troubleshooting advanced automated systems to ensure optimal performance for clients across various industries.

Remote work is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair industrial automation equipment.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics and diagrams.

  • PLC Interaction: Troubleshoot automated machines using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

  • Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote support to clients.

  • Documentation: Maintain detailed service records using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.

  • Training: Conduct client training sessions on equipment operation and maintenance.

  • Travel: Travel to client facilities as needed (approximately 20-30% of the time).

Qualifications and Skills

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.

  • Industrial Equipment Experience: Proven hands-on experience with factory maintenance and automation systems.

  • PLC Knowledge: General understanding of PLCs required; advanced PLC knowledge and basic programming skills preferred.

  • Electro-Pneumatic Expertise: Ability to read and interpret electro-pneumatic schematics.

  • Communication and Organization: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong organizational abilities.

  • MS Office Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting.

  • Customer Focus: Professional demeanor with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar role within automation or manufacturing industries.

  • Familiarity with robotics and motion control systems.

  • Experience in factory maintenance or production environments.
