Engineering Operations Manager

We are seeking an Engineering Operations Manager for a full-time permanent position with a large public sector client in Missouri.

Role Overview
As the Engineering Operations Manager, you will support senior leadership in planning, overseeing, and administering county-level engineering and operations functions. This role blends engineering expertise, operations oversight, and staff leadership in a public service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage daily operations while ensuring compliance with regulations and policies
• Provide leadership and supervision to engineering, technical, and operational staff
• Support emergency response operations (including nights/weekends as needed)
• Seal engineering plans under your supervision
• Develop, monitor, and manage budgets
• Oversee contracts and third-party contractors, including writing specifications
• Represent the organization in meetings with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Missouri (required)
• 7+ years of related work experience in engineering/operations
• Valid driver’s license

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly rate: $43.28 – $51.94 (based on experience and budget)
