Focus:
- Counsel business leaders on HR policies, labor law compliance, and employee relations issues to mitigate risk and ensure organizational best practices.
- Handle a wide range of employment-related litigation, including EEOC, FLSA, ADA, and other federal/state claims, from initial consultation through resolution or trial.
- Partner with litigation and corporate teams to provide comprehensive legal strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Manage client relationships and collaborate with support teams to deliver timely, practical legal advice.
- Build and expand the employment law function into a formalized, long-term business unit.
Skill Set:
- A minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience in employment and labor law, including both litigation and advisory services.
- Board Certification in Employment or Labor Law is highly preferred—or active pursuit of certification.
- Strong litigation readiness, including trial experience or demonstrable trial preparation skills.
- Excellent legal writing, research, and client communication skills.
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish is a strong advantage, supporting a diverse and international client base.
- A proven academic foundation; a top-tier law school background or notable academic achievement is valued.
