Our client is a 340+ bed facility with a range of health services including inpatient, outpatient, medical, surgical and emergency care, as well as a behavioral health unit.
They are the recipient of several The Joint Commission's Top Performer on Key Quality Measures awards over several years.
They are also part of the one of the largest and most successful health systems in the country.
They have engaged our firm to fill several immediate needs for experienced Emergency Room Nurses to help take their department to the next level.
Description:
Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing.
Experience:
- At least one year previous experience in clinical unit preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health care team and excellent communication skills required.
- Requires physical stamina and emotional stability.
Licenses/Certificates:
- RN License to practice in the State of Illinois in good standing or eligible.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required within 3 months or prior to being removed from orientation.
- Emergency Communication Registered Nurse (ECRN) preferred.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) or International Trauma Life Support Certification (ITLS) preferred.
