Position Highlights

• Annual ED volume: ~35,000 visits
• 17-bed Emergency Department with a dedicated Fast Track
• Daily patient census: 80–120 patients
• Admission rate: 13%
• Scribes available to assist with documentation
• EMR: MediTech
• Modern facility with strong operational and specialty support

Coverage Model

• Physician coverage: 36 hours per day using 12-hour shifts
• APP coverage: 36 hours per day using 12-hour shifts
• Overlapping coverage throughout the day supports efficient flow and patient care

Candidate Requirements

• ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABEM only)
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
• Active, unrestricted Louisiana medical license and DEA
