Salary: $325,000.00 - $380,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a high-volume setting.
• Assess, stabilize, and treat patients with a variety of acute healthcare needs.
• Effectively manage medical emergencies including trauma, acute illnesses, and injuries.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate coordinated care.
• Monitor and prioritize patient flow in the emergency department to ensure timely care.
• Engage with patients’ families and caregivers, providing updates and education about medical conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiencies.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Certified in Emergency Medicine.
• Valid medical license in the state of New York or ability to obtain one before employment.
• Demonstrable experience in emergency medicine clinical settings.
• Ability to work 10 to 12, twelve-hour shifts per month, including nights and weekends.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a high-volume emergency department is highly valued.
• Additional certifications related to emergency medicine, such as ACLS or ATLS.
• Leadership experience or roles in clinical settings.
