Responsibilities:
The Email Marketing Specialist will drive strategy and execution for email campaigns at Rate, focusing on KPIs, analytics, and compliance. This role involves managing trigger, transactional, product campaigns and lifecycle emails while continuously optimizing performance.
- Oversee and execute the weekly email marketing queue
- Own the end-to-end process for lifecycle and promotional email campaigns
- Manage segmentation, list health, and A/B testing for daily emails
- Support data cleansing efforts in collaboration with Email and MarTech teams
- Optimize campaigns through comprehensive A/B and multivariate testing
- Develop post-campaign reports with insights and recommendations
- Track, analyze, and report email performance metrics (open rates, conversions, etc.)
- Work with marketing teams to develop new campaigns, automations, and workflows
- Identify and resolve email deliverability issues
- Maintain clean data by handling unsubscribe requests promptly
- Support other marketing initiatives (e.g., print and social assets)
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects with minimal oversight
- Take on additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in email and digital marketing
- Proficiency in email campaign management systems
- Experience with data management and import/export tools
- Intermediate to advanced HTML/CSS skills for responsive email design
- Strong problem-solving mindset with technical aptitude
- Ability to juggle multiple deadline-driven projects
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Prototyping, creative design tools (Figma)
- Bonus: Experience with marketing automation platforms (Total Expert, Iterable, etc.)
