Electronics Test Technician

💵 Pay: $25 – $33 per hour Direct Hire

Our client, a leading manufacturer in South Ventura County, is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Technician to join their Design Verification Test (DVT) team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a stable, growth-oriented environment where long-term career development is encouraged.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and prepare electronic assemblies for testing

  • Probe and measure small and large signals

  • Build and crimp cables and harnesses

  • Perform soldering and SMT board rework

  • Troubleshoot and characterize new designs

  • Execute verification procedures for hardware designs

  • Conduct thermocouple placement and thermal profiling

  • Collaborate with engineers to support testing of new designs

📌 Required Qualifications

  • ASEE, ASCE, or equivalent degree

  • 2+ years of experience as an Electronics/Electrical Technician.
  • Experience as an Electronic technician troubleshooting circuits at the component level.

  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, hi-pot testers, and temperature scanners

  • Ability to analyze and interpret circuit schematics

⭐ Preferred Skills

  • Design Verification Testing (DVT) experience

  • Familiarity with communication protocols: RS-232, RS-485, CAN, Ethernet, EtherCat

  • Data acquisition setup and programming skills

  • Programming knowledge in C#, C++, VBA, or VB.Net
