Required Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years' related sign experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Environment

Position is an indoor warehouse setting with moderate noise levels including traffic, voices, heavy machinery equipment, and foot traffic sounds. Employee may interact with customers, sales representatives, and other internal departments.

Job Summary

Performs any combination of following tasks to assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems: Reads production orders, follows production drawings, work instruction documents and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed partially or completely, Responsible for all processes involved in assembly process.

Assembles Led Display and Lighting products and related functions. Assembles metal products, such as pipe-fittings, housings, back plates, enclosures, or aluminum extrusions working at bench or on shop floor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
• Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Operates drill presses, cutoff Saw, Electric air and hand tools to assist in assembly operation.
• Drills and taps holes in specified locations for mounting control units.
• Wires assembly for electrical installations according to wiring specifications
• Assembles in predetermined order contacts, extrusions, front and backer plate, Led modules, receptacles, terminals and PCBs. Cuts, strips and mounts wires to connect electrical devices and or cable /receptacle assembly hardware.
• Drills and taps holes in specified locations for mounting control units.
• Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
• Wires assembly for electrical installations according to wiring specifications
• Able to meet/exceed the requirements to solder.
• Able to use Forklift and be certified in same.
• Perform basic on-site service calls.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Handles complex assemblies without assistance.
• Assists Application Engineers and/or Product Specialist on specific projects.
• Service and Field installations at customer sites. Heights up to but not limited to 100 feet.
• Operation of aerial lift equipment.
• Able to program displays and lighting components with related software.
