This is a high-impact role where you will take ownership of site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and exceeding client expectations. What You’ll Do
- Oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with designers, subcontractors, and vendors to translate project plans into actionable site activities.
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring efficient sequencing and risk mitigation.
- Supervise and guide subcontractors to drive performance and ensure deliverables meet the highest industry standards.
- Lead critical system installations, including tie-ins and live system cut-overs, while minimizing operational disruptions.
- Implement and maintain Method of Procedures (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for construction in mission-critical environments.
- Proactively identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on goals and expectations.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety and compliance protocols, fostering a secure and efficient work environment.
- Conduct daily site inspections and generate progress reports, tracking performance against key project milestones.
What You Bring
- 8-10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in MEP or mission-critical facility construction.
- Strong background in managing the installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Deep understanding of mission-critical infrastructure, including data centers, energy facilities, and pharmaceutical plants.
- Expertise in project scheduling, subcontractor management, and site safety protocols.
- Ability to lead teams in high-stakes environments, making swift, informed decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to coordinate with engineers, clients, and subcontractors.
- Experience with construction software and project management tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed to project sites within the designated region.
