Electrician
Harbinger Network has partnered with a niche leading client to find an Electrician to join their team.
The role is responsible for installations on customer sites, including: installing, wiring, testing, and commissioning conveyor systems and related electrical components at customer facilities.
This role reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with mechanical installation teams, project managers, and customer site representatives to ensure successful project completion. The Electrician will travel to various customer sites across North America to perform electrical installations and support system startups while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable electrical codes, project specifications, and company standards.
What will you be doing?
- installing and connecting electrical components associated with conveyor systems such as motors, sensors, control panels, variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor starters, and power distribution equipment.
- running and bending conduit, electrical wiring, cable routing, and terminations based on electrical schematics and layout drawings.
- read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and installation plans.
- may assist with mechanical installation and alignment of conveyor equipment when required to support the overall installation process.
- test and commission conveyor systems to ensure proper operation and performance.
- troubleshooting electrical faults, diagnosing system issues, and making necessary adjustments during installation and startup.
- maintaining clear communication with project managers, site supervisors, and customer representatives regarding installation progress, technical issues, and project timelines.
- accurate documentation of installation activities, service reports, and commissioning records must be maintained.

What do you bring to the table?
- must have 309A License, OR be 442A licensed with previous experience running/bending conduit
- self starting as you will be working autonomously
- willing and able to travel within North America roughly 50% of the time
- ideally you have a background in Machine Building
- live within a reasonable commute of Vaughan
- strong planning abilities
