Electrician

Are you a well rounded Electrician in the Brantford area with strong mechanical skills looking for a new opportunity?
Our client is searching for an individual to join a well tenured team of 7 with a proactive mindset.

In this role you will be:
- performing mechanical and electrical work on hydraulic and pnuematic systems
- working on PLC hardware (no programming required)
- improving existing equipment and installing new equipment
- assiting with parts inventory
- using SAP for PMs
- working with pumps, conveyors, hoppers, grinders, AC DC drive troubleshooting
- performing minor facility maintenance
- performing MIG and Stick welding from time to time
- performing basic machining

What do you bring to the table?:
- 442A/309A Electricans license
- strong mechanical skills
- computer literacy
- excellent troubleshooting skills
- ideally you have a background in extrusion with plastics or rubber
- able to pass a basic mechanical test as a part of the interview process
- live in the Brantford area for on call rotation
