We are searching for an Industrial Shift Electrician to join our client’s growing team.

Basic duties of the Industrial Shift Electrician include performing corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance on industrial production equipment. You will be required to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems while working individually or as a part of a team with other maintenance and production personnel.

Qualifications for the position include:
  • Two years degree, completion of trade school or 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
  • Strong commitment to safety in all job aspects
Preference Qualifications:
  • Experience in industrial electrical equipment including electrical distribution, and machine control systems. (13.8kv down)
  • Practical experience in electrical theory, electric motors, transformers, and 3-phase electrical equipment
  • Knowledge of automation and networking equipment and processes. (PID/closed loop control systems, Networking tools and standards, HMI programming and troubleshooting, Process Instrumentation)
  • PLC's systems building, programming, and troubleshooting experience
  • VFD experience
  • Protection Equipment and NFPA 70E training
  • Overhead Crane knowledge and repair experience
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics or installation, repair, and maintaining equipment
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills
  • Basic pneumatic and hydraulic system knowledge
  • Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, and has the ability to contribute effectively in a team environment
