Job Overview

As an electrical inspector, you are driven to positively impact electrical safety. You are responsible for inspecting electrical installations from start to finish, including: examining electrical drawings and inspecting installations to ensure electrical code compliance, advising customers, creating and maintaining inspection records, and investigating and reporting on electrical fires and accidents.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Requires a current Certificate of Qualification Electrician Journeyperson, construction and maintenance and have at least 7 years experience (residential, farm, commercial, industrial and HV Substations).
Must have good knowledge of Ontario Electrical Safety Code, through knowledge and understanding of the practices of the electrical industry in installing and maintaining electrical equipment.
Must have a valid drivers license and a safe driving record.
Requires ability to express self clearly both verbally and in writing, to be able to build and maintain good customer relations, to be able to work safely and independently. Requires ability to understand business financial reports and computer skills.
