JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN in Madison Al. Our client is seeking a hands-on Electrical Technician to join the team at their leading local automotive manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with 12-volt DC systems, be comfortable using power tools, and possess their own basic set of tools. This role focuses on installing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and components in vehicles.

Responsibilities of a ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN includes:

  • Install and wire 12V DC systems, components, and accessories in vehicles according to build specifications.
  • Use hand tools and power tools (drills, crimpers, wire strippers, etc.) to complete electrical installations.
  • Perform system testing and quality inspections to verify proper function.
  • Read and follow basic wiring diagrams and work instructions.
  • Identify, diagnose, and repair electrical issues during and after installation.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with company safety policies.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding issues or build concerns.

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • ASE Certification Preferred
  • Wire Harness Assembly experience preferred
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of hands-on electrical installation experience, preferably in an automotive, RV, marine, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of 12V DC electrical systems.
  • Must own and bring a basic set of power and hand tools to work.
  • Ability to use common electrical tools such as multimeters, wire crimpers, and strippers.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, and work with hands above head for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
