Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial electrical projects from preconstruction through completion. This role is responsible for overall project execution, including scope management, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients. The ideal candidate brings strong technical electrical expertise, proven leadership capabilities, and the ability to balance project management and estimating responsibilities in a dynamic environment.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical construction projects from award through closeout, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.

  • Coordinate daily activities with field leadership, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.

  • Oversee electrical estimating, takeoffs, and pricing for bids, change orders, and project modifications.

  • Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, and service call responsiveness as needed.

  • Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain clear communication with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.

  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and proactively implement corrective actions.

  • Support and mentor junior team members, including field staff and estimators.

  • Promote a strong safety culture and operational efficiency across all job sites.


Qualifications

Required

  • 5–10 years of electrical project management experience within commercial and/or industrial construction.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical estimating, construction practices, and project controls.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and schedules simultaneously.

  • Experience leading field teams and coordinating subcontractors and vendors.

  • Journeyman Electrician license and/or a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Construction Management.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

  • Master Electrician license.

  • Experience with both new construction and remodel projects.

  • Design-build project experience.

  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
