Title: Electrical Project Manager – ICI Small Projects

Location: East Mississauga

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a results-driven Electrical Project Manager to oversee smaller sized retrofit projects in the commercial and institutional space from award to close-out. You will be the primary point of contact for General Contractors, Consultants, and our Field Foreman.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience: 5+ years of Project Management experience specifically within the Ontario electrical trade.

-Software Proficiency: Strong competence in Accubid (for change orders), Microsoft Project or Primavera, and Procore (or similar project management platforms).

- Contract Knowledge: Familiarity with CCDC contracts (CCDC 2, 5B, etc.) and the Ontario Construction Act (specifically regarding prompt payment and holdbacks).

- Communication: The ability to push back on GCs and subcontractors when necessary while maintaining a professional, collaborative relationship.

Key Responsibilities

- Project Execution: Lead the planning and scheduling of labor, materials, and equipment for projects ranging from $500k to $5M+.

- Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, track labor productivity, and oversee the billing cycle (Progress Draws).

- Change Management: Identify "out of scope" work promptly. Utilize Accubid to price change orders accurately and negotiate approvals with GCs/Consultants.

- Technical Supervision: Oversee the installation of complex systems including Distribution, ULC-S524 Fire Alarm systems, PA/Intercom, and specialized Sports Lighting.

- Procurement: Coordinate with vendors for major equipment buy-outs and lighting packages, ensuring submittals/shop drawings are approved before ordering.

- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all site activities comply with the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act
