Electrical Maintenance Supervisor
Position Summary: This position’s prime objective is to reduce maintenance costs and improve equipment reliability by implementing a predictive electrical maintenance program and planning, coordinating, scheduling, and supervising corrective maintenance projects assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Position Responsibilities: Reports directly to the Maintenance Manager Responsible for performing duties, such as but not limited to:
- Reducing maintenance costs,
- Improving equipment reliability through the implementation of a predictive maintenance program,
- Planning, coordinating, and supervising corrective maintenance projects assigned by the Maintenance Manager, and
- Planning shutdown repairs and be responsible for the completion of capital projects

Directs the electrical maintenance activities done in the plant and quarry, which includes the repair and adjustment of existing electrical equipment and the installation of new equipment. Provides daily assignments for electricians and inspects work in progress. Completes daily time reporting. |

Additional responsibilities include Problem-solving and root cause analysis, component design, preparation of contract documents and scopes of work, coordination, scheduling of required work, supervision of contractors, and ordering materials. |

Accomplishes periodic inspections of field instrumentation, wiring, calibration, equipment condition, and proper installation to ensure optimum operating performance. Directs electrical maintenance on field instrumentation and replacement of defective parts. |

Directs calibration of instrumentation and control devices; tests systems for proper operation after repair, works from schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer’s instructions. Prepares a maintenance schedule for all systems hardware per manufacturer’s instruction. |

Job Specifications:
Education: |
Must possess a minimum of a two-year degree in engineering or related fields, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering |
Experience: |
5+ years in the electrical field |
Proficiencies and knowledge: |
Must be proficient with reading blueprints and schematics Computer skills, including knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, and word-processing software. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to identify problems that arise and implement corrective measures |
