ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.
  • Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
  • Need to be proficient in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical repairs.
  • Understand and implement lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of welding and carpentry.
  • Access multiple system applications simultaneously to effectively service customers.
  • Use applicable resources/tools to problem-solve and make appropriate decisions to meet customer’s needs and resolve issues.
  • Ability to perform effectively in complex and difficult environments.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in problem identification and resolution.
PREFFERED SKILLS:

  • Effective interpersonal, influencing and communication skills (verbal, presentation and listening) to interact with customers, vendors and colleagues and resolve issues with documents and processes.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have patience for people and a high stress tolerance when needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Strong technical acumen.
  • A self-starter with a great attitude who enjoys solving problems and taking on challenges.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum high school, vocational, or equivalent education
  • State Certification – Electrical Apprentice to Journeyman Electrician (MUST)
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
  • Foreign language skills a plus (Spanish).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Demands:
  • Frequently: Standing, Walking, Sitting, Handing, Finger movements, Reaching outward and above the shoulders.
  • Occasionally: Sitting, Climbing, Crawling, Bending, Squat/Kneel, Lift/Carry up to 50lbs, Push/Pull 50lbs.
