This group specializes in electric vehicle chargers, solar power, and energy storage and ideally looking for a 309A electrician that is looking to get off the tools and into the office full time.

Job Description:
-Reporting to the Senior Estimator/Project Manager, the Electrical Estimator & Project
Manager is a key member of our project management team, responsible for overseeing projects
from client engagement through to completion.
-This role requires a balance of technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities to ensure successful project execution.
-You will be responsible for estimating, planning, and managing electrical projects while
maintaining cost control, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and fostering
strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
-Your ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results will play a critical role in reinforcing our reputation as a trusted contractor and technical advisor.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Post-secondary education, trade certification, and/or equivalent experience in the electrical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrical estimator and/or project manager.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical materials, construction methods, and estimating principles.
- Strong understanding of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong computer skills; proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
- A 309A License is preferred but not necessarily a requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to establish project goals, objectives, and scope.
- Define success criteria and ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Analyze project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and addenda, to produce accurate take-offs and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Prepare detailed proposals, including scope of work, pricing, and timelines.
- Obtain competitive quotations from subcontractors and suppliers to optimize project costs and quality.
- Plan and allocate internal resources (labor, materials, and equipment) to ensure efficient project execution.
- Supervise field operations to ensure compliance with contract terms, project schedules, and safety regulations.
- Monitor and control project costs to maintain profitability and provide financial reporting to senior management.
- Process change orders as required to address scope modifications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Provide technical support and guidance to field staff as needed.
- Collaborate with the accounts receivable department to coordinate invoicing and progress payments.
