Our client is an international MEP engineering firm that is leading the way in large mission-critical facilities within Texas and across the US. They’re seeking a Supervising Electrical Engineer to join the leadership group in their Dallas, Texas office.

Key Responsibilities

As the Supervising Electrical Engineer, you will act as the lead Project Engineer on critical facility projects and act as the Project Manager for project execution by utilizing your skills to complete the following:

·       Lead the Dallas team as the technical Engineer of Record for data center and critical facility projects, converting client goals into appropriate system designs and/or solutions, factoring in environmental effects, project budget, health, safety, and welfare of the public, and local systems and methods.

·       Aiding in thought leadership through involvement in associations and industry groups such as 7x24 Exchange or other related associations  

·       Manage construction administrative duties, such as field reports, responses to RFIs, processing bulletins and addenda, etc, coordinate with accounting to prepare monthly project invoices, and monitor project accounts receivable.

·       Oversee employees, lead EOR or Project Managers for projects up to 100M in construction costs.  

Preferred Qualifications

·       10+ years of critical facility experience in complex power distribution design

·       Professional Engineer (PE) license is required

·       Ability to develop infrastructure, distribution, and redundancy design options as part of due diligence or concept design, including power design, equipment layouts, and sequence of operation.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders
