About the Opportunity: Our client, a Major U.S. Oil Company, has an excellent opportunity in its large Baytown petrochemical complex for an Electrical Engineer.

About the Position: In this key role, your primary focus will be on optimization, troubleshooting, and design of a wide variety of electrical equipment including large motors and gas turbine generators, working closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Project Development teams to identify and implement electrical equipment repairs and reliability improvements.

This includes designing and specifying electrical equipment such as motors, breakers, relays, generators, substations, buses, starters, transformers, and other industrial electrical equipment (480 V to 138 kV) and coordinate projects for new or replacement equipment, including commissioning, startup, and support of electrical systems to maintenance personnel.

Want to work with high voltage systems? You will have the opportunity to work with >1500 HP motors and gas turbine generators as well as the 13.8 kV to 138 kV power distribution systems.
